Programming Intern

MYLead Programming Intern (PI) is a volunteer role with MYLead that helps with some of the many programming and logistic details needed at the conference weekend to make it a success.  PIs provide the organization and positive role model that helps make the MYLead conference such a smoothly running experience.

Given the breadth of different needs which PIs serve, all applications are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.  Generally speaking, requirements often include:

  • Complete a minimum of 50 hours of community service during the year preceding in the conference.
  • Fundraise a minimum of $70 per day for Friday and Saturday participation at the conference. There is no fundraising requirement for volunteering on Thursday or Sunday of conference weekend.
  • Attend at least one of the PI training sessions before volunteering at the conference.

To apply to be a PI, Login to the MYLead portal and select the “Apply to be a PI” link or contact questions@mylead.org if you are not a current MYLead volunteer.
